The Bay City Firefighters Local 116 has a long history of being involved with charities both locally and nationally. Our members are dedicated to helping those in need, and to continuing the generosity of our predecessors.
On a local level we are proud to help out with coats for kids, Sponsorship of local Little Leagues, and other fund raisers to help local charities.
Nationally, we are proud to
continue the tradition of firefighters supporting the Muscular Dystrophy
Association (MDA.) Every Labor Day weekend is spent filling the boot for
Jerry's Kids, and we remain determined to beat the previous year total. The
number to beat this year is not set yet !!
